The first TEN people to comment in this post get to request a drabble of ANY pairing/character of their choosing (of ANY fandom) from me (with a prompt, if it pleases you to give me one). In return, they have to post this in their journal, regardless of their ability levelPost if you feel like it.

Ok, I've been trying to decide what to request. I have a hankering for Mana/Yuta from Mermaid's Forest... but it's mild in comparison to the ever present need for cloti. ;) So... Cloud/Tifa and... seven impossible things before breakfast.

Do you want anything in special for those impossible things? :D Or can I come up with anything?

I don't know if I've got a right to ask for a prompt. I have no LJ journal so I can't post this reciprocally. If however I can still get away with it, I think I'd like to read your take on 'game-time' Cloud. You know the one at the beginning of FFVII before he falls apart and Tifa puts him back together. I've always really enjoyed him (there's nothing like getting to be snarky as you play a character to make you love him) but most writers miss the different levels he's got to him, even at that time and just have him cold and emotionless. Which I never really thought he was. From what I've read of what you've written, I think you'd manage to catch him better than that. If I'm allowed to build on that prompt, I'd like some Cloti with my snarky Cloud please :) I usually try to keep my prompts vague so they don't get in the way of writing but if you need more just let me know.

of course, I'm not above prompting for the next installment of your 'godverse' fic with young Cloud and Tifa either but I figure you've already got that one simmering and this is for new prompts.

and since you're enjoying Pratchett so much - I'd like to recommend getting your hands on the movie 'Hogfather' (got mine from Amazon) if you haven't already. It's done beautifully and, for a surprising change, the movie really did do the world justice. I think you'd enjoy it. They also did 'The Color (Colour) of Magic' as well with Sean Austin. I enjoyed that too but Hogfather was better. If you haven't seen them already, I'd give them highest recommendations. ;) - TamLin
